This page is an index of the surnames I am somewhat actively researching. I've been actively collecting information on both sides of my family for over 9 years and I have over 5000 people in my files. I've done most of my research at the Family History Center in Mesa, AZ and the New England Historic Genealogical Society Library.in Boston. I've also spent a lot of time combing the Internet for information on these sites.

I get a lot of inquiries from my entries on Roots Surname List Finder and elsewhere that I don't have time to answer quickly. This page is an attempt to describe the information I have. I usually do not collect information on collateral lines, so if you don't find your ancestors here, it's likely I don't know about them.

Each surname below includes earliest known ancestor, major localities, and most recent information. The links on the surnames lead to brief ancestral charts showing seven generations of the family back from my great grandparents. The name links lead to family group sheets generated by Reunion. This list is not complete, but rather lists the families I am most actively interested in. A complete list of all names on my pages can be found here.

Be aware that I do not guarantee the lineages posted here are correct. Sources are noted wherever possible. In some cases I have posted possible lineages (noted by red "tentative link" markers"), but that does not mean everything else is perfect. In some cases, the only early information I have is from the LDS Ancestral File. I have often cut off these lineages here, but you can investigate them online at FamilySearch. In addition, I have included AFN numbers where I know them and source 31 indicates the date comes from the Ancestral File.
