the cabin where his hand crafted
oxen yoke are displayed.
Mitchell Amason's
Piney Wood
Cattle
Piney Wood Cattle
came to Mississippi with
earliest settlers.
The cattle provided meat, milk,
and oxen, for transportation
and plowing.
Mitchell Amason and other
local farmers/ranchers
are perpetuating this "antique"
breed of cattle through their breeding programs.
