Research question(s)/additional information
William M. Ransom and Allice E. Vance married in Monroe Co., MS on December 4, 1857.  Allice is found with her parents, George & Mary Vance, in the 1850 Monroe County, MS census, but I can't find William M. & Allice Vance Ransom until 1880 Monroe County census.  They disappear after that.  William is rumored to have died around 1888 in Monroe County - did he and where is he buried?  And what happened to Allice?  When did she die and where is she buried?  They lived around Athens, MS I am told.
