Billings, Abner: born 1800-1809 in Muscle Shoals, TN, which is
now part of
Additional Information: He died May 12, 1877 in Washington
Township, Webster County, Iowa. He is buried in a cemetery in Duncombe, Iowa. I
have been there and can verify that. He married Martha Key on Dec 31, 1835
in Sidney, Shelby County, Ohio. Martha was born Oct 15, 1813 at Dayton,
Montgomery County, Ohio. Places of residence: 1840 - Montgomery County,
Ohio; 1850 - Jay County, Indiana; 1860 - Mahaska County, Iowa; 1861 -
Laredo County, Iowa; 1862-1866 - Bellfountaine, Mahaska County, Iowa; 1866-1871
- Border Plains, Webster County,
Iowa; after 1871 - Duncombe, Webster County, Iowa.
They had 10 children:
