Research info:  I am looking for any cousins who may still live in the
communities or surrounding  towns. We celebrated our 1st family reunion
and would like to find more cousins and learn more about this family.
Mary and Daniel had 6 children. Doc, Jake, Sam, Lee (my ggrandfather),
Mary E and Lucinda (Cane. She was widowed with a son names Jake). I am trying to find out the names of the parents of Daniel and his wife
Mary's, maiden name. I have no information about the ggrandma's in my
family. Daniel and Mary's sons later moved to Tupelo Ms, and St Louis
Mo.

Research question(s)/additional information:  George is the eldest son of Thomas E. Alexander and Elizabeth Sudduth Alexander.  Elizabeth is the daughter of James Allen Burleson & Louisa Graham.   George and Betty's daughter, Iva Lea Alexander, married James Franklin Murff Sr. of Monroe Co., MS.

Alexander, Thomas E. : b. in Virginia on 3-28-1842 ? married 10-28-1866 to Serenia Elizabeth "Emma" Sudduth (b. 9-24-1849 in Lamar Co., AL)

Research question(s)/additional information:   Thomas came to Alabama after the Civil War with a member of the Sudduth family, thereby meeting Emma and marrying.  He is thought to have been living in Kentucky before the war.  His parents are George and Mary Alexander.  Emma Sudduth is the daughter of Mitchell H. and Mary G. Sudduth.

My line:  Samuel>Thomas>George Washington>Nancy Milton
Counties:  G.W. Allen is found in Fayette & Lamar Counties, AL up through 1910.  He died in 1916.
Research question(s)/additional information:  G. W. Allen was first married to Winnie M. Loftis, who died in 1894.  I am descended from their daughter, Nancy Milton Allen, who married Isham Pitt Robertson in Lamar County, AL in 1875.  Where does Nancy's middle name, MILTON, come from?
