ALSOP DATA for VIRGINIA

It is most important to see the county formations, and the proximities to each other. This will help understand

the origination and the migration patterns of the Alsop families.

The following information was mostly obtained through records of the Virginia Archives, and it will be an ongoing project.

The data will be mostly edited by Reba Alsup, Henry Conor, David Alsup and Jerry Alsup.

Additional notes and sourcing data on the “Early Years” can be found on Reba’s website, census years 1790 to 1840,

along with names on the Alsop Marriage Index.

The items in Red are personal comments, and they may or may not be correct.
