Looking for info on George Grover Allport b.1892 Brooklyn NY and May Ivy Wootton b. 1897 Essex England. Married in Niagara Falls in 1917. The children’s names were Ellen May B.1920 and Charles Edgar B. 1922. They lived in the Niagara Region (Welland, St. Catherines and Niagara Falls).

Rumour has it George left the family around 1924.

May and Ellen were in St Catharines in the late 1950’s.

George had a sister named Mabel Allport who lived in Brooklyn NY in 1915. Their parents names were Charles and Mabel (nee Thompson), both parents were dead by 1915. It is possible that George and his sister stayed with relatives named Thompson, but it has not yet been proven.

May Ivy’s parents were Edgar and Nellie (nee Corneluis). May was a home child.
