Know all men by this presents that we Wm G Durham and Louise Durham wife of said Wm Durham in consideration of fifty Dollars in hand --- by Joseph McCoy do hereby --- release and forever quit claim unto said McCoy and his heirs forever all our title in trust and estate legal equitable in the following premises to witt a certain tract or parcel of land Situated and laying in van buren county and State of Tennessee District No 7 and waters of Larel creek containing by survey Seven hundred and sixteen acres which was Granted to Wm G Grisham by the State of Tennessee on the 30th day of June 1871 No of Grant 12649 and bounded as follows Beginning in the center of the dry fork of Larel creek where the main road leading from McMinnville to Spencer crossing the same running thence North 88 west 140 poles to a Stake and Marked trees thence North 30 East 40 (70?) poles to marked trees thence North 62 East 312 poles to the dark hollow and marked trees near the falls thence East 125 poles to the Flemming line a stake thence South with said line 325 poles to a stake in the Spencer road thence west with Said Road 350 poles to the Beginning in testimony whereof we have here unto set our hands and seals this the twelfth day of April one Thousand and eight hundred and seventy three Sealed Signed and delivered in presents of us

Personally came before me S.B. Grissom County Court Clerk for said county W G Durham the above named Bargainer with whom I am personally acquainted and acknowledged the execution of the foregoing Deed for the purpose and things therein expressed And Louise Durham wife of Said W G Durham having Appeared before me separately and apart from her husband acknowledged the execution of the Said Deed to have been her made by her freely voluntarily and understandingly without compulsion or constraint from her husband for the purposes and things therein contained this the 18 day of September 1873 witness S B Grissom Clerk
