William Ervin ‘W.E.’ McFelia

MUNFORDVILLE – William Ervin “W.E.” McFelia, 94, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006, at the Hart County Health Care Center.

He was born in Linwood on Sept. 11, 1912, and was a son of the late Matthew McFelia and Flora Clopton McFelia. Mr. McFelia was a retired farmer and a member of the Rowletts Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons: Ervin Bernell McFelia and wife Clara Dean of Munfordville, and Don Turner McFelia and wife Mae Donna of Louisville; one sister: Ethel Forbes of Louisville; one grandson: Timothy Nelson McFelia of Louisville; two step grandsons: Paul Bruce Wilson and Timothy Clay Wilson, both of Munfordville; one step granddaughter: Debbie Racel of Louisville; one great-granddaughter; six step great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lizzie Lindsey McFelia; four sisters: Della Duncan, Eula Wade, Nora Doss and Elsie Mertz; and two brothers: Cecil and Logan McFelia.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, with Brother Lonnie Sheets and Brother Gary Talley officiating. Burial will be in Knoxes Creek Cemetery, Magnolia.

Friends may call from 1 until 9 p.m. today and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Alternate expressions of sympathy may be made to Rowletts Baptist Church
