~Research: Order Death Certificate, Birth Certificate, and SSDI.From an Interview with Anna Helen YATES Patterson:
During the trip in a covered wagon to Arkansas, she was sent to see after her six month old baby sister, Helen, while their mother, Taddy, was fixing diner. She put the blanket over the baby's head. When the
baby suddenly got quiet, Taddy felt there might be a problem so she ran and checked on the baby.
When she pulled the blanket off the baby's head the baby was blue from lack of oxygen. Luckily she did recover and told me this story.
