Wayne, Nebraska-Obituary 1918
William Page was born in Kentucky, May 28, 1826, and died April 13, 1918, at the age of 91 years, 10 months and 15 days. He was married to Rachel Myers (Miers) on October 7, 1847 in Clinton County, Ohio. To this union were born 14 children, 10 of whom are living. He moved to Clarke County, Iowa in 1888 from Illinois and later to Nebraska where he made his home with his children. He died at the home of his son William near Pilger, Nebraska. Funeral services were held from the son's home Sunday, April 14th with burial in the Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne. The deceased was sick only a week. His death was attributed to infirmities incident of old age. The members of the family are: John Page, Stephen Page, and Mary Hale of Osceola, Iowa; Stella Harless and James Page of Weldon, Iowa; Anna Humphreys of Galesburg, Illinois; Rosa Simpson of California; Maggie Barrett of Wayne, Nebraska; Sarah Baughman of Avon, Illinois; and William Page of Pilger. Mr and Mrs. James Page and John Page were present at the funeral.
