Sarah (McMullen) Tate was born abt. 1768 in Botetourt Co., VA to Edward and Sarah (Robinson) McMullen and died aft. 1804 in Greene Co., TN. She married Edward (1755) Tate Jan. 8, 1786 in Botetourt Co., VA. To this union 8 children were born: Robert B., Nancy, David, Edward Jr, Catherine, Gersham, Carey and Jane.
