"1903" LITTLE LELA PAGE ACCIDENTALLY KILLED by her brother:-On last Monday afternoon Donald Page, the seven year-old son of Mr. & Mrs. James W. Page, living west of Osceola, accidentally shot and killed his five year-old sister, Lela. The father had unthoughtedly laid the gun down outside the house before starting to Murray a short time before. The brother and his sister were outside playing when he picked up the gun. An elder brother went in the house and told the inmates that Donald had the gun. The mother was sick but another lady started for the door, when she heard the discharge. Harry Page Dies
Six year old Harry Francis Page died of membrane croup with partial paralysis and was buried in the Glenwood State Cemetery on Oct. 25. Doctor of record was George Mogridge, MD who was a well known doctor in the area at the time.
