BARR CEMETERY is in Marion Township. The cemetery was recorded in 1964 by two researchers in Grundy Co., MO. This cemetery was a small family cemetery practically non-existent in 1964. It is located along a fence row in a wheat field; timber is being cut among the graves; gravestones tumbled and scattered about, broken and seperated from footstones. There is no assurance that all records are included. (Information found on http://www.rootsweb.com/~mogrundy)
I also have been to the Barr Cemetery. My parents live just across the highway from where it is located. It was hard to locate, because of the stones being scattered and broken. The cattle and weather conditions have not helped the cemetery. No roads to get there, so have to walk.
