Samuel BARR, born a twin to Irene Catherine on Feb. 28, 1865 in Grundy County, Missouri. Sam married Anna Almira LaFlesh on Oct. 31, 1889 at Rev. William Reeds residence in Laredo, MO. According to his daughter, Sam and Anna lived in various places for the next several years. On Feb. 10, 1895, six years after their marriage, while living on a sheep ranch near Breckenridge, Caldwell County, Missouri they became parents of a little girl whom they did not even name for several months, Edith Estelle Barr. Anna died at her home in Laredo on April 11, 1906. She is buried at Black Oak Cemetery, located about 2 1/2 miles northwest of Laredo, MO.
