Hello, my name is Carl D. Alderson. I am the youngest son fo William Benjamine Alderson Jr. and Edna Belle Lanesdowne. William Benjamine Alderson Jr. was the son of William Benjamine Alderson Sr. and Phoebe Kinsey Alderson. Edna Belle Lanesdowne was the daughter of Clarence Delos Lanesdowne and Eva Lena Gilbert. The Alderson's was from Chester Pennsylvania and Olyphant Pennsylvania area. The Lanesdowne's was from McGrawville, New York area. I was born in Courtland, New York. Lived most of my younger life in and around Binghamton,, New York area. I have been working on my Family Tree Project and was hoping that maybe someone in this line would see this site and contact me with more information to add. I was told that the Alderson's originated from Whales and England and it is believed that the Alderson's came over to the United States in the Pennsylvania and New York State area in the very late 1700's or early 1800's. My father had one brother, Albert Ray Alderson who lived in the Rochester, New York area. His wife's name was Viola Alderson. Her maiden name is not known to me.
