JOHN PALMER - whose Wirksworth website has been invaluable in tracing members of the Clay and Nall families. John has also done lookups in his database relating to these two names.
KATHRYN FARRELL - I contacted Kathryn through John Palmer's site, and it turned out that she is my 5th cousin once removed! Kathryn passed on to me the benefit of her research on the Clay family, but I have only put that part which relates to my direct ancestry on this site.
ANN ANDREWS - Also researching the Derbyshire Clays, although not related to my line as far as we can see. Ann has provided me with information from her files which has given me some very useful leads.
CHRIS STEVENS - a descendent of Mary COTTON who gave me useful information on the HART family and its relationship to the THOMPSONS.
BRETT PAYNE - another distant cousin descended from the COTTON line.
PETER HUBBARD - a descendent of the CLARK family of Stanley who has kindly provided me with information on his line and allowed me to publish some of his family photos.
THE EXTON RESEARCHERS - a group of people descended from the Extons of Rutland, who contacted me and passed on more information about my line. They have over 10,000 names on a database.
KEN STANGER, CHRISTINE YATES, JOYCE TROUSDALE and TREVOR HEWSON - with whom I have been collaborating over the Stanger tree.
RICHARD CHILVERS - who discovered my website whilst surfing the net, realised we were related via the CLAY line, and has provided some extra information and photos.
