Additional Information: The will of Humphrey Stanger (1710) names only three sons (William, John and Humphrey) and three daughters (Alice, Mary and Anne). William is said to be the eldest son and Humphrey the youngest. This means that the younger Thomas, like his namesake, must have died as a child. It also implies that Elizabeth probably died young too. The will also reveals that Humphrey owned three houses - he left one to each son.
