  • Only one Russell family story - Robert Russell, an early Greene County farmer was born 1775/76 in Virginia. He married Margaret Kennedy (nee Malick).
    Their children included Thomas, David, John (b. abt 1814, married Elizabeth Howell in 1843), Charlotte and Nancy. Robert died in 1855.

  • Fred Horace Weems, son of Elliott & Martha Babbs married Sarah E Russell, daughter of James & Sarah Fowler Russell. Sarah had one brother - Dave Russell who married Sally Bowman and had two sister - Dora Russell who married Newton Seaton and Lydia Russell who married Vernie Good.
