"My father - William David (Jack) of course was the yougest of the family. After his mother(Maude) died he was taken in by Leonard and Belle Harmon. I don't know if his father was still alive or not. Leonard was a farmer and Belle a School Teacher. They lived in Wynn which was close to my father's birthplace. I believe he was 7 or 8 at the time. They had no children at the time but after taking in my father they began producing siblings. I know we visited St. Charles many times when I was a child and went to the Cemetary where my Grandparents were buried." (per son, Paul)
