*After their parent's death, these two children went to McNairy Co, Tn to live with their uncle Henry Harrison Ledbetter and their aunt Martha -who had no living children of their own. There only daughter had died as a young girl. I even had a picture of Henry Harrison Ledbetter. Was told this by my grandmother and other children of both William Marion and Eliza Evaline (Ledbetter) Vinson. Some of William Marion's children used to go back to MS to visit relatives and also in the DeWitt and Crittenden Co, Ark area near Memphis.
Eliza Ann Smith has been the 'mystery lady' for some time. She was born 1829-1830 in Alabama. She m/1 Samuel F. Rountree November7, 1849 Lauderdale Co., Alabama. Her marriage is listed as:"Smith, Eliza Ann Rountree, Samuel F. 7 Nov 1849 Green, J. C. JP"After her marriage, she went to Kentucky for a while where her 3 Rountree/Roundtree children were born. Sometime before 1869, she returned to Lauderdale Co., Alabama where she m/2 Francis M. Ledbetter. Now this marriage is listed wrong as I have seen the record. There was a Littleton Smith in the Lauderdale Co., Alabama are who may be the father of Eliza."Roundtree, Eliza Ann Littleton, Francis M. 18 Jan 1869 married by Pettipool, John"
