Administrator's Bond for Estate of Eli Jobe
April 8th 1862

Bond for estate of Eli Jobe by Jacob Jobe appointed exector  dated April 8th 1862

TRANSCRIPTION

We Jacob Job as principal and Thomas J Job and Robert Allison as Securities are held and Bound to the State of Missouri in the Sum of Twenty five hundred Dollars for payment of which we Bind our Selves our heirs Executors and administrators

The Condition of the above Bond is that if Jacob Job administrator of the Estate of Eli B. Job Deceast Shall faithfully administer Said Estate account for pay and Deliver all money and property of Said Estate and perform all other things tutching Said Administration required by law on the order or decree of any court having Jurisdiction then the above Bond to be void otherwise to remain in full force

in Witness Whereof we have hereunto Subscribed our names and affixt our seals this 8th day of April, 1862

Jacob Jobe Says that to the best of his knowledge and belief the names of the heirs of the Said Ely B Jobe deceased and their places of residence are respectively as follows Epsy Hall and Jacob Jobe and Thomas J Jobe and Martha Sipress and Calip Jobe and Elizabeth Nichol all who resides in the County of Oregon and State of Missouri Jacob Jobe says that he will make a perfect inventory of the estate of Ely B Jobe deceased and faithfuly Execute the last will of the said Ely B. Jobe pay all debts and legacies as far as the assets will extend and the law directs render just account and faithfuly perform all things required by law Touching Such Administration

State of Missouri,) xx In County Court in Vacation County of Oregon,) (County crossed out and Probate written over top) The State of Missouri, To Jacob Jobe Admn of the Estate of E. B. Jobe deceased, GREETING: You are hereby cited to be and appear before the (word crossed out and replaced by) Jude (sic) of case said (County croseed out and replaced by) Probate Court, at the Court House in the town of Alton, in said County, on Monday the 1st day of October, A.D. 1864 which will be the 1st day of the Next Term of sais Court, then and there to show just cause, if any you can, why an attachment should not issue against you for failing to come forward and accounting for here settle your accounts as Admn of the Estate of E. B. Jobe which bt law you should have done at the July Term, 1864 of the said Court. Witness my hand as Clerk of said (County crossed oue and replaced by) Probate Court and the writ thereof hereto attached, at office this 23 day of Sept, A. D. 1864 T. J. Boyd
