Catharine was nicknamed Kitty. Actually we have more questions about her than answers at this time. We do know that she married George Dabney Willis, the son of George Willis and Susannah Baker and grandson of Stephen Willis and Susannah Terrell. I have a feeling that this family may have earlier connections with the Wingfield family.George Dabney Willis was born November 11, 1780 King William Co., Virginia. When he married Catharine Foster, he had been previously married to Susannah B. Barkwell on November 26, 1807 Wilkes Co., Georgia.
We know that George did have children, but at this time, do now know who belongs to which marriage.
