Frances 'Fanny' Foster - George Ruddle

Frances, known as Fanny, was born about 1792 Wilkes Co., Georgia.

The name Ruddle is also spelled Ruddell. George was the son of Andrew Ruddell and Eleanor Gore who had married March 22, 1785 Rockingham Co., Virginia. He was the grandson of George Ruddle and Magdalene Bird.

Both George and Fanny died before 1837.

   Frances was adopted by James and Elinor (Ruddell) Daniel after her parents death. Elinor was her father's sister.

   James was in the Indian Wars and was wounded. He was very popular after his return and was chosen to lead the Militia. He married the granddaughter of John Hardin Foster and Martha Wingfield.
