Artemisca 'Micy' Simpson
My Triple Cousins
Thomas J., or 'T. J.' as he was known, was the s/o John Davis Jr and Elizabeth Laurance/Lawrence. Besides the Davis connection, I'm also related to this line through the Laurance line. Thomas's wife was also a Lawrence descendant.Of interest, Thomas and Artemisca had a set of twins and a set of triples.
SIMPSON FAMILY
Artemisca Simpson was born May 31, 1851 DeKalb Co. TN to Samuel Simpson and Susan Laurance who married February 6, 1850 DeKalb Co., TN. Samuel was the son of James Simpson and Ruth Alexander. Susan was the daughter of Pharis 'Phares' Laurance and Katharine ?. Therefore, Thomas and Artemisca were 1st cousins on the Laurance side.
