SELF FAMILY
Amanda Jane Self was born Decmeber 10, 1843 Dowelltown, DeKalb Co., TN to William C. Self and Leanne Spencer.William C. Self was born about 1815 Smith Co., TN and died March 8, 1870 Dowelltown, DeKalb Co., TN. He is buried at the Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery in DeKalb Co., TN. He was the s/o Abner Self and Nancy Laurance who married about 1814 Smith Co., TN. Nancy (Laurance) was the sister of my direct ancestor, Thomas Laurance who married Susannah Pafford.
Leanne (Spencer) Self was born about 1817 Smith Co., TN and died 1868 Dowelltown, DeKalb Co., TN and was was also buried at the Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery in DeKalb Co., TN. Leanne was the d/o Moses Spencer and Barbara Jane Stinson.
