OUR DOUBLE COUSINS
Elizabeth Davis married Lewis Laurance (later spelled Lawrence) about 1823 somewhere in the Smith Co., TN area. Both Cheryl and I are also Laurance descendants. Lewis was the s/o William Laurance/Lawrence who left a will dated Sept 25, 1838 in Smith Co., TN.Cheryl descends from Pharis Laurance while I descend from Thomas Laurance. Both were brothers to Lewis Laurance who married Elizabeth Davis.
