Martha was born about 1792/93 in Franklin Co., North Carolina. Her father died when she was 6-7 years old and her mother, Rebecca, never remarried.

Rupert Farnham Thomspon, in the Boon book, gives us no information on Martha after her marriage.

Martha spent her entire life in the Franklin Co., NC area.

Locky Wester (orginally Westray)

Locky was born about 1792 North Carolina to Daniel Westray. At this time, I do not know his mother's name. It was through the contested will of his brother, Axum, who died unmarried in 1854 Franklin Co., Nc that we have any type of record of Locky's siblings. We do know that Martha's sister, Celia, married Locky's brother, Hudson Wester.

  "Executors to dispose of present crop in such a was as to care for wife and 4 youngest daughters. Estate no disposed of in above provisions to be divided equally among my 8 daughter:  Mary JONES, Sarah BOON, Patience BOON, Rebecca BOON, Cely BOON, Nancy BOON, Patsy BOON, Tabitha BOON, to them and their heirs & for ever.

  "Deducting out of Mary Jones' part fifteen pounds Virginia money."  His part of his father's estate left him in Virginia he wishes divided among the 8 named daughters."
