

Allen Boon was born 1813 in Franklin Co., NC. AS a young boy of 5 or 6, he came with his parents to Alabama and finally settled in the Coweta, Heard, Greene Co., Georgia Area.

Allen Boon married Elizabeth Ann Davis on May 9, 1836 in Wilkes Co., GA. He would have been 23 and she was only 15 1/2. Elizabeth was born Dec 15, 1820 in Wilkes Co., GA to William Davis, Jr. and Joice Johnson. In HEARD COUNTY, GA - A HISTORY OF ITS PEOPLE by Lyda S. Eller on p. 166, it states:
"She came to Heard Co., with her parents sometime between 1828, when records show her father joined the Baptist Church at Clark's Station, Wilkes Co., and Dec 12, 1835 when along with her parents, she joined Bethel Baptist Church, Heard Co."

The following quote can be found in HEARD COUNTY, GA - A HISTORY OF ITS PEOPLE by Lyda S. Eller on page 166.
"He was a landowner in Enon Grove Community and was active in Bethel Baptist Church and later, after Jan 11, 1851, in Enon Grove Baptist Church, from which he was a frequent correspondent to Bethel Baptist Church, the last date being March 9, 1879. It is not known when nor why he left Heard Co., but on April 3, 1886 he purchased property in Sparta, LA, Bienville Parish, where he later bought and sold several pieces of property."
