Susanna C. Boon was born about 1815 in Frankin Co., North Carolina. As a young girl of 3 or 4, she migrated to Alabama and later Coweta and Heard Co., GA with her parents. She married Amos Johnson July 16, 1831 at Newman, Coweta Co., GA. She was about 16 at the time of her marriage.

Amos died about 3-4 years after their marriage and they had no children. In 1925 in BOONES AND SOME CONNECTIONS, Judge John H. Boon wrote:
"The only daugther of Kinchin and Margaret Boone, viz Susan Boon, never raised any family, and lived most of her life as a widow."The Heard Co., GA History book also verifies that she had no children.
