In the name of God, Amen.
1 July 1815
I, John George ward, yeoman of the Parish of Bradford, being very weak in body but of perfect mind and memory, thanks be to God for it, therefore calling into mind the inxxbility of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all humans to die therefore do make and ordain this to be my last will and testament, that is to say, Principals. And first of all I Give & Recommend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in a decent and Christian Burial at the Discretion of my Executor, nothing xxxxxx but at the Resurrection I shall xxxx the xxxx again, by the mighty power of Almighty God and as touching such Worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me with in this life I Give, Demise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form xxxxxxx I Give and bequeath to my Daughter xxx John Ward Thirty Pounds to be paid one year after my Death. Xxxx I Give to my well beloved daughter Grace Allin xxx pounds to be paid one year after my death. Also I Give and bequeath to my Dearly beloved wife whome I ordain to be my sole executor of this my last Will and Testament all my xxxx xx Estate and all my Goods and Chattels xxxx and Bonds and any thing I stand possessed of in this World if my Wife Mary Ward should marry a second husband she shall loose all and after the Decease of my dearly beloved wife All my Estate or Estates goods and Chattels xxxx and Bonds and any thing xxxx stands possessed off shall go to my son John Ward confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament in Witness whereof I xxxx hereunder set my Hand and seal the day and year above written.
