This is the Last Will and Testament of one George Perriam of the City of Exeter and County of Devon Gentleman I give devise and bequeath unto my Wife Mary Perriam all and singular my Landed and Leasehold Property Goods and Chattels Monies and Credits for and during the term of her natural Life and from and after the death of my said Wife I give devise and bequeath unto and between my Children George Perriam, Joseph Perriam, Mary Ann Hamlin, William Perriam and John Perriam all and singular my Landed and Leasehold Property Goods and Chattels share and share alike and as regards this my bequest to my said Daughter Mary Ann Hamlin I will that it be for her own sole and separate use and benefit separate and apart from her present or any future Husband or Husbands and not in any manner subject to his or their control or liabilities and provided that my said Children cannot agree as to the division or distribution among themselves of my said Property then I will that the whole be sold and the proceeds thereof equally divided between tham share and share alike All the rest residue and remainder of my Property whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever I give devise and bequeath unto and between all my said Children share and share alike and I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my Sons George and Joseph Perriam joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament Inwitness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this third day of October One thousand eight hundred and forty nine

2 February 1850 - She was the wife of George Perriam, a master mariner, when she died aged 83 in Magdalen St, Exeter, of paralysis (2 days) (death certificate).
4 February 1850 - Mary Ann Cockrell, of 4 Trinity St, Exeter, who had been present at her death, notified the registrar (death certificate).
? - February 1850 - She was buried at East Budleigh parish church (see photo of headstone).
