6 June 1841 - He was a labourer aged 25 (rounded down) living in Tyler's Field, St Philip & Jacob Without, Bristol, with (his wife) Leah, (their daughter) Sarah aged 8, Sarah Collier aged 8, Thomas Smith aged 18, Thomas Bright aged 15, Arthur Amar (?) aged 15, and Benjamin Strickland aged 13 (see 1841 census).
30 March 1851 - He was a haulier aged 39 living with his wife Leah, daughter Sarah aged 18 and George William Dagmore in Farrs Court, St Philip and Jacob, Bristol (see 1851 census).
7 April 1861 - He was a builder aged 49 living with his wife Sarah (sic) and their nephew James Ford aged 40 in Upper Easton Rd, St George, Bristol (see 1861 census).
19 April 1864 - His daughter Sarah married John Lambert of Ashfield House, Ashley Hill by licence in St Andrew’s church, Montpellier (see The Bristol Mercury and Western Counties Advertiser dated 23 April 1864).
2 April 1871 - He was a builder aged 59 living with his wife Leah at 2 Lee St, St Philip and Jacob, Bristol. He was shown as being born in Hambrook (see 1871 census).
3 April 1881 - He was a builder aged 69 living with his wife Leah and Alice Salmon, a servant, at 72 Claremont St, St Philip & Jacob, Bristol. He was shown as being born in Hambrook (see 1881 census).
17 December 1881 - He was a builder and a widower aged 70 living at 9 Supex Place West, Bristol when he married Lydia Gough in St Barnabus' parish church, Bristol by licence. He signed the register. His daughter Sarah Lambert and (son-in-law) John Lambert witnessed the wedding (marriage certificate and see The Bristol Mercury and Daily Post dated Tuesday 27 December 1881).
4 February 1888 - The Bristol Mercury published an article from the secretary of the Bristol General Hospital that included a list of donations. Edwin Farr had given £25 (see newspaper).
5 April 1891 - Aged 79, he was living on his own means at Cornwall House, Stapleton Rd, Bristol with his wife Lydia and Henrietta Flower, a servant (see 1891 census).
20 December 1891 - He was a retired builder when he died aged 80 at Cornwall House, Stapleton Rd, Bristol, of senile decay, bronchio pneumonia (5 weeks) and exhaustion (death certificate).
22 December 1891 - His nephew E S G Heskins, of 13 Union Rd, St Philip’s Out, Bristol, advised the registrar (death certificate).
6 January 1892 - The Bristol Mercury reported a donation to the Bristol Infirmary of £50 from the late Edwin Farr (see newspaper).

6 June 1841 - Aged 25 (rounded down), she was living in Tyler's Field, St Philip & Jacob Without, Bristol, with (her husband) Edwin, (their daughter) Sarah, Sarah Collier, Thomas Smith, Thomas Bright, Arthur Amar (?), and Benjamin Strickland (see 1841 census).
30 March 1851 - She was aged 39 and living with her husband Edwin, daughter Sarah aged 18 and George William Dagmore in Farrs Court, St Philip and Jacob, Bristol (see 1851 census).
7 April 1861 - Aged 49, she was living with her husband Edwin and their nephew James Ford aged 40 in Upper Easton Rd, St George, Bristol. She was shown as Sarah (see 1861 census).
2 April 1871 - Aged 59, she was living with her husband Edwin at 2 Lee St, St Philip and Jacob, Bristol (see 1871 census).
3 April 1881 - Aged 69, she was living with her husband Edwin and Alice Salmon, a servant, at 72 Claremont St, St Philip & Jacob, Bristol (see 1881 census).
25 May 1881 - She was the wife of Edwin Farr when she died aged 69 at 72 Claremont St, St Philip & Jacob, Bristol, of meningitis enoacute and cerebral exhaustion (death certificate).
30 May 1881 - Her daughter Sarah Lambert of Ashfield House, near Ashley Hill, Bristol, who had been present at her death, advised the registrar (death certificate).

LYDIA FARR (formerly GOUGH NÉE VICKERIDGE) (daughter of Thomas Vickeridge)

C 1821/22 - She was born in Congresbury, Somerset (see 1881 census).
9 April 1849 - She was a spinster of full age living in Holloway when she married Alfred Gough in Lyncombe and Widcombe parish church (marriage certificate).
30 March 1851 - Aged 30, she was living with her husband Alfred in John St, St Philip and Jacob, Bristol (see 1851 census).
7 April 1861 - She was a milliner aged 40 living with her husband Alfred in Upper Easton (Rd), St George, Bristol (see 1861 census).
2 April 1871 - Aged 50, she was living in Beaufort House, Easton, with her husband Alfred, his sister-in-law, Elizabeth Owen, and his nieces Emily and Fanny Bukerage (see 1871 census).
3 June 1876 - She was in attendance at the death of her husband Alfred at Beaufort House, Upper East, Bristol (AG's death certificate).
7 June 1876 - She was living at Beaufort House, Upper Easton, Bristol when she advised the registrar of the death of her husband Alfred (AG's death certificate).
3 April 1881 - She was a widowed householder aged 59 living in Cornwall House, Stapleton Rd, Bristol with her niece Ann M Taylor, a dressmaker, aged 19 (see 1881 census).
17 December 1881 - She was a widow aged 60 living at Cornwall House, Stapleton Rd, Bristol, when she married Edwin Farr in St Barnabus' parish church, Bristol by licence. She signed the register (marriage certificate and see The Bristol Mercury and Daily Post dated Tuesday 27 December 1881).
5 April 1891 - Aged 70, she was living on her own means at Cornwall House, Stapleton Rd, Bristol with her husband Edwin and Henrietta Flower, a servant (see 1891 census).
22 February 1901 - She was the widow of Edwin Farr, a retired builder, when she died aged 81 at 251 Stapleton Rd, Bristol, of cerebral thrombosis (2 months) (death certificate).
23 February 1901 - Her niece, A M Blackwall, of 41 (?) Somerville Rd, Bristol, who had been present at her death, advised the registrar (death certificate).

ALFRED GOUGH (son of Samuel and Elizabeth Gough)

8 July 1817 - He was baptised in Temple parish church, Bristol. His father was a victualler and lived in Temple (info from Edna 26 March 2004).
6 June 1841 - Aged 20, he was living in Upper Easton, St George, Bristol, with (his parents) Samuel, a brick maker and Elizabeth both aged 50 (rounded), (his sister) Matilda aged 20 (rounded) and Elizabeth Owen aged 35 (rounded) (see 1841 census).
9 April 1849 - He was a brick maker of full age living in Holloway when he married Lydia Vickeridge in Lyncombe and Widcombe parish church (marriage certificate).
30 March 1851 - He was a brick-maker aged 34 living with his wife Lydia in John St, St Philip and Jacob, Bristol (see 1851 census).
7 April 1861 - He was a brickyard (sic) aged 45 living with his wife Lydia in Upper Easton (Rd), St George, Bristol (see 1861 census).
2 April 1871 - He was a brickmaker aged 57 living in Beaufort House, Easton, with his wife Lydia, his sister-in-law, Elizabeth Owen, and his nieces Emily and Fanny Bukerage (see 1871 census).
3 June 1876 - He was a brick and tile manufacturer when he died aged 60 at Beaufort House, Upper Easton, Bristol, of sintius of the mediantinal glands (2 years), annsarea (1 year) and hydrothorax (death certificate).
7 June 1876 - His wife Lydia advised the registrar (death certificate).

ELIZA FARR (daughter of Francis and Sarah Farr)

12 September 1813 - She was baptised in Winterbourne parish church (see parish register).
