Powleys of Westmorland

These pages include the Powley members of the Addisons of Westmorland family tree. My Great Great Grandfather James Addison married Jane Powley, whose family originated in the same area of Westmorland. Other members of the Powley family emigrated to Australia and New Zealand and Canada. By coincidence, there was an Edward Powley and family from Levens living in my wife's home town of Grand Falls, Newfoundland in the 1930s and 1940s. I have tried to find a link to them in my family tree but as yet have had no success. I hope you find some information of interest on this site. I would be interested in hearing from you if you do.
