According to the research notes, Robert Adderley was "of Balgrave and Mount Sorrel". He was also indicated as Robert Adderley the 1st. There is a Balgrave in Berkshire, and there is a Mount Sorrel in Leicestershire. There is also a Mount Sorrell in Wiltshire, which is the county bordering Berkshire. However, the research indicates that Robert and Alice married in St. Peters Church, Mount Sorrel, and there is definately such a church in Leicestershire.
In fact, a transcription of the graves at this church can be found at Mountsorrel Townswomen's Guild site (http://www.mountsorrel.org.uk/StPeters_graves.htm)
This site provides a transcription of a headstone for Robert and Alice Adderly (no e), and provides details of other graves related to other Adderley/Adderly family members, including a Robert Adderly, son of Robert and Alice, who died at age 18, and Robert Adderley, grandson of Robert and Alice through their son John, and his wife Frances.
