The HURT family was one of the first families in Adair County.
Their names are featured prominantly in the oldest records available here. I am actually
researching two lines from this family, the descendants of William Hurt and the descendants of
his brother, Nathan. There is a lot of information available on William Hurt's family (not so much
on Nathan's). I hope some of my work helps someone else! Let me know if you have any specific
