The site comprises information which has been transcribed from the GRO Index's, the Parish Registers, Bishops Transcripts, published Index's and other sources. Much has been contributed by fellow Ackerman researchers.

The information listed in these pages is not a complete record of all the Ackerman entries in the Parish Registers. There are still many Parishes, particularly in the London area, whose records I do not have. Should you have any entries from the parish records which are not in the lists, and you would like them included, please send me the details. In that way we will increase the database, which will be of benefit to all Ackerman researchers.

Before looking at the lists I would suggest that first time visitors look at the Read me page for some background information. This should also help in understanding the Transcriptions.
