Mr. Randy Abney was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Jean Abney, in 2002; and father John Everette Abney in 1990. He is survived by his companion of 15 years, Jane Gonzales ; daughter Cora Erskine; and brothers Darrell Chaloux (Rebecca) and Danny Abney.
He was a mover for Blue Girl for four years. He enjoyed gambling, motorcycles, collecting antiques, wood boxes and wood carvings. He enjoyed spending time with his dog, Lacy, and his family.

Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. to the start of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, at Alhiser-Comer Mortuary in Escondido with the Rev. Richard Huls officiating.

Church Road, Eubank, Kentucky, son of Willie Abney and Annie Wallen Abney passed
away Sunday, June 5th, 2005 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Somerset,
Kentucky. He was born February 1st, 1947 in Bourbon County, Kentucky. He was a
United States Navy Vietnam War Veteran, serving 4 years during the Vietnam War
and was an Assistant Manager for Autozone. He is survived by his wife of 34
years; Margaret Adams Abney, whom he married on April 10th, 1971: one daughter;
Melissa (and John) Adams, Winchester, Kentucky: four brothers; Marvin (and
Margie) Abney, Arkansas, Benny (and Margaret) Abney, Massachusetts, Herman (and
Peggy) Abney, Richmond, Kentucky and Billy Abney, Irvine, Kentucky: one sister;
Opal (and Shannon) Nolan, Science Hill, Kentucky: 2 grandchildren; Zachary Kyle
and Katie Clare Adams, Winchester, Kentucky: four nieces: five nephews. He is
preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday,
June 8th, 2005 at the Chapel of Morris and Hislope Funeral Home with Brother
Rodney Haggard officiating. Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery,
Nancy, Kentucky. Visitation will be after 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 8th, 2005
at Morris and Hislope Funeral Home. Military honors will be given by images/american

Vernon, John Abney of Harrison, Ind., and Lanny Abney of Oxford, Oh. Two daughters; Mrs. Anna Joyce Morrison of Dayton, Oh., and Mrs. Calra Dean Kienzle of Bradenton, Fla. Three brothers; James Baker of Dayton, Oh.,Byron Baker of Mt. Vernon, and Charles Baker of Dayton, Oh. One sister; Mrs. Irene Dooley of Dayton, Oh. Nineteen grandchildren, and thirty-one great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by; her husband; Walter Lee Abney,
Age 90, of 204 Conway Rd. Berea died Tuesday November 18, 2003 at the Rockcastle Hospital in Mt. Vernon after a long illness. She was born on April 22, 1913 in Rockcastle County the daughter of the late Charles and Eva Johnson Baker. She was a retired custodian for Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and was a member of the Brindle Ridge Baptist Church.

ABNER Robert "Robbie", 38, son of James and Jean Abner, died Sun, May 6, 2007 as a result of renal failure. Survivors other than parents are children, Tyler and Tori Abner; sister, Shana Abner; grandmothers, Frances Guynn and Edna Abner; the mother of his children, Leslie Abner; and many friends and relatives. Funeral services will be 2pm Wed at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St by Bro. Wayne Stevenson. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery. BAYARD - Roger Abner, 65, died Monday April 30, 2007, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, May 7, at Blue Springs Cemetery in Blue Springs, Neb. with Pastor Clayton Lundstedt officiating. Roger was born Dec. 9, 1941, in Scottsbluff to Roy and Maude (Linscott) Abner. He grew up and received his education in Scottsbluff and was graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1957. He farmed in the area before starting his own construction company building homes in the area. He was an over the road truck for several area companies. He was employed as maintenance supervisor for Chimney Rock Villa from 1998 until his retirement in October 2003. He married Olivene Chasteen Sept. 6, 1994, in Hot Springs, S.D. Roger loved using his computer and shopping on e-bay.He is survived by his wife Olivene; son, Bryan Abner of Atkinson, Neb.; daughter, Sheri (Jay) Ehler of Sidney, Neb.; step daughter, Tina Mathiesen of Denver; grandchildren, Zane Abner, Addie Abner, Bowdy Ehler, Paxton Ehler, Allie Ehler and Shaughnessy Mathiesen; sisters, Susan (Kenneth) Klein of Frederick, Colo. and Mary Ann (Powd) Bolles of Hanna, Wyo. His parents preceded Roger in death.

ABNER Russell E., 61, husband of Betsy Hubbard Abner, died Sat May 12, 2007 at his residence. Born in Manchester, KY, he was the son of the late Johnny and Mallie Bundy Abner. He was a truck driver for 4th St. Implement.
Survivors other than his wife include one brother, Olin Abner, Manchester; three sisters, Diana Valentine, Manchester, Tina Amos, New Albany, IN, and Brenda Tincher, Palaka, FL; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2pm Tue at Kerr Brother Funeral Home, Main Street by Pastor Dewell Perry.
Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Claude Davis, Gifford Hubbard, Ronnie Lawson, David Abner, Bill Clower, and Billy Clower. Honorary Pallbearer will be Will Davis. Visitation will be 6-9pm Sun and Mon at the funeral home.
