AGIZOWÔGANAL" (NUMBERS) "



The numbers section of Jos Laurent publication dated 1884 is now obsolete. Henry Lorne Masta publication dated 1932 is more explicit when it comes to declining of numbers as an adjective.

Masta does not use or say the Schwa Vowel (e). Therefore, the number one will simply change to PAZKW instead of Pazekw.

It is for these reasons I will share with you a more up to date method of using the adjective numbers without using academic terminology. I will give you examples for the numbers (one and two) with its singular and plural forms:



PERSONIFIED SINGULAR ADJECTIVE

pazgo = He or she is one

N’dawikhigan pazgo = My one book is

PERSONIFIED PLURAL ADJECTIVE

Pazgoak = We/they are one K’dalmosak pazgoak = Your two dogs are

PERTAINING TO THE LIMITATION OF A SINGULAR ADJECTIVE

Pazgen sanôba = One man is

PERTAINING TO THE LIMITATION OF A PLURAL ADJECTIVE

Nisgnol awôganal = Two baits are

PERTAINING TO THE LIMITATION OF THE ACUSITIVE SINGULAR ADJECTIVE

Pazgek sanôba patlioz = The one man is a priest

PERTAINING TO THE LIMITATION OF THE ACUSITIVE PLURAL ADJECTIVE

Niskil awôganal alômiwi mozwlagol = The two baits are in the moose boat
