Abel
  • Charles Abel served in the Civil War with GAR CoC 53rd ILL INF
  • Henry Abel with a friend who happened to be with him.
  • Alice Abel - daughter of Charles and Annie M. (Taylor) Abel; sister to Henry M. Abel.
  • Four Generations, taken 1951: Henry Abel, Ruth (Abel) Bay, George Bay - holding Georgia Lea Bay, and Jimmy Bay.

Bay
  • Kate (Mitchel) Bay - (wife of George W. Bay, mother of Branard Bay) taken later in life.
  • Branard Bay (Son of George W. Bay and Kate Mitchel) - taken in O'Neill, Nebraska (9/14/02)
  • Here is a small collection of photos of my father, George H. Bay (Son of Branard Bay and Ruth Abel) - as a young boy growing up in Nebraska.

Davis
  • Clara M. *Olds-Cowan, born in Fairfield, Iowa in 1865. She married Henry M. Abel in Corning, Iowa in 1892, later moving to Hooper, Nebraska.
  • And Catherine Davis' brothersWilliam, Frank, and Edward Davis. The Davis' lived in and around Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.
  • Small old Tintype of sisters Clara May and Mary Emma Olds.

Edelman

  • A darling little picture of sisters Dorothy and Vivian Edelman as little girls in the late 1920's, daughters of Alfred and Henrietta (Groenert) Edelman. The dresses, handmade by their mother, sported ruffly store-bought trim, and was quite expensive at the time, but to avoid undue stress, Henrietta told Alfred that she had ruffled them herself.

  • Allen F. *Mitchel and his wife, Susan M....Allen and Susan were born and married in Pennsylvania and moved to Nebraska in the early 1880's with their children.

Taylor

Children of George and Elizabeth Taylor:
  • Emily Elizabeth Taylor, daughter of George and Elizabeth Taylor. (Emily was the only child not able to attend the funeral of her father.

A photo taken on May 16, 1891, the day George Taylor was buried. His wife, Elizabeth and her children posed for this Portrait the day of his funeral.
