The following 4 men are buried at Marietta Confederate Cemetery in Cobb Co., GA. The information was taken right off of their graves when they were dug up or when they were wounded at the battle sites, which may have mistakes T.E. McGaughy or McGaughey, J. H., Major- 16h Alabama--Listed in Rosters as Lt. Colonel
Payne, Thomas-Co. E. 16th Alabama---there is a Thomas "Tom" J. Payne in Co. F but not sure if this is him.
According to the National Park Service-Civil War Soldiers and Sailors database at www.itd.nps.gov/cwss/soldiers.htm, Augustus W. and his brother, Oliver Casey both were members of the 16th Infantry, Company F. Oliver Casey died at the Battle of Shiloh and is not listed in the Co. F rosters. -- Please contact Lisa Perry
