My father's parents were married in St. Mark's Church, as were all of her mother's siblings for whom I have located the records.

There appears to be some sort of a closer connection between this family and victims of the Slocum disaster.

The connection appears to be through the Heuer family. My father's aunt married Georg Heuer. The Herman Heuer family were known Slocum victims.
