Armagh Guardian: News - News - M'ALISON, RICHARDSON - Flax

Transcribed by Alison Causton

The following article was transcribed from The Armagh Guardian, by permission of The British Library.

FLAX. sample of flax, 42 inches long, grown from Riga seed by Mr. M'ALISON, near Caledon, on the estate of Mr. JAMES STRONG, Bart. Our informant states that the sample was taken from a crop covering seven acres, and is a fair specimen of the whole. The seed was bought from RICHARDSON, Brothers & Co., Belfast, by Mr. M'ALISON, who was able to supply most of the tenants on the estate ; and it has given general satisfaction.

This reprint is intended SOLELY for the non-commercial use of family historians, with the sincere hope that a Lister may find the content useful. I am not descended from the person(s) mentioned herein.
