Index of a few extracts from West Dorset Parish Registers, Wills, Admons, Phillimores etc
A few miscellaneous extracts from various sources found in some old note books that were taken whilst at the Dorset Record Office (DRO) a few years ago: some for my own research, and some for other people. If, by chance you find something of interest I regret I am unable to vouch for its accuracy and advise that you should verify any information found here. Despite the heading these extracts were a note taking exercise and not a part of a formal transcription - so beware! Apart from having difficulty reading the handwriting on some Wills some of them were badly stained making certain parts of them are unreadable.
